BlackBerry giving away a free Keyone Black Edition phone

If you are a BlackBerry fan, and have been planning to purchase a Keyone Black Edition smartphone, you'll be glad to know the company is giving away a unit for free. Of course, we're talking about a contest here, and it's reasonable to assume a lot of people will be giving it a try.
But still, you stand a chance. All you have to do is to comment on the following post, detailing something you love about the phone. Also, follow the company's Instagram profile and tag three of your friends.


The contest - which is open to users worldwide - runs through December 29, and the winner will be announced the next day.

HTC teases new Edge Sense features for U11 — these are the apps you’ll be squeezing next

Sometimes you get the sense smartphone manufacturers just can’t win. They’re often criticised for playing it safe, but when they venture off the beaten track the results are often derided as ‘gimmicky.’ It has been used as a stick to beat Moto Mods, as well as LG’s modular G5, and now the word is being cast at HTC to deride the squeezable Edge Sense feature on the new U11 flagship. While LG was dissuaded, Moto is persisting and HTC is going the same route by announcing a series of new Edge Sense features coming to the U11 in the near future. Within Google Maps, a squeeze will zoom into a place on the map, while the same is true within Google Photos. Thinner Moto Z2 Force could come with a huge trade-off

Motorola is expected to announce a raft of new phones at an event next week, but one of the headline sequels on show disappoint in one major way. Judging by a newly-leaked spec sheet, the Moto Z2 Force will forego its predecessor’s impressive battery life in order to shave a millimeter off its physical footprint. In a post on  Venture Beat , leaker Evan Blass reckons the Z2 Force will arrive with a 2,730mAh battery, compared with the 3,500mAh cell within the original Z2 Force. That would be a 22 per cent reduction in capacity. It wouldn’t be the first time this year Lenovo has taken this route; the Moto Z2 Play also say the company sacrifice longevity for style by slimming down the device.
